We want you to be happy with and proud of your new home at Talta in Ballard. That’s why we set high standards for all of the materials and workmanship used to create this unique community. These standards make it that much easier for us to provide exceptional customer service and establish lasting relationships with our homeowners.

Through your first year of homeownership, our dedicated Homeowner Care Team will be on hand to answer any questions you have about your home and provide warranty service. So whether you haven’t moved in yet or you’ve already been a part of the Talta community for a little while, you can count on our team to be on hand to support you and reinforce your decision to purchase one of our homes.

Before You Move In…

 You’ll have the chance to walk through your new home with a Warranty Service Representative and the Project Manager. They’ll review your Homeowner Manual with you and they’ll also go over the operational systems and any finishes that require special care.

Inside your Homeowner Manual, you’ll find contact information for utilities as well as for the providers who installed the appliances, plumbing, and wiring. In addition, it includes the warranties and manuals for items like appliances and heating/cooling systems, care instructions for the various elements of your home, and your full home warranty. All of these documents are designed to help ease the transition into your new home and answer as many questions as possible. Of course, should you need additional assistance or have further questions, we are happy to help!

After You Move In…

If it’s an emergency, please first refer to the Orientation Checklist in your Homeowner Manual to find the contact information specific to your issues. For example, if you have a water leak, the plumber’s phone number is listed on the checklist. You can also contact the Warranty hotline at (206) 413-9121.


To Report a Warranty Claim:

  1. Click on the Warranty Portal button below, which will take you to the portal login page. You’ll find your username and password in the Warranty section of your Homeowner Manual.
  2. Select the Warranty tab on the top navigation bar.
  3. Select New Claim to add your warranty request.
  4. Describe your warranty request in detail and include photos if necessary.
  5. Click the Save button at the top.

A Warranty Service Representative will contact you shortly to schedule and inspect your claim.

Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Warranty service appointments are typically scheduled Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., excluding holidays.
